How much sleep do we need?

Today studies show that people who get 6.5h and 7.5h live the longest? So sleeping those eight hours may just be shortening your life span! There is a just as is much a risk with sleep to much as there is with sleeping to little. So sleeping 8h may be worse then sleep for 5.

The ideal amount of sleep for different health measures isn't always in the same place. Sleeping to long and sleeping too little has been know to lead to various illness such as depression, anxiety, heart disease and even obesity.

But we still don't really know if a short sleeper will live shorter if he starts to sleep to long or if a long sleeper starts setting his alarm clock back a bit.

It's okay to have a short sleep because in the long run in can actually help you get to sleep faster. Getting out of bed when your not sleepy and going to bed a little later in just fine! It's always difficult to get the right amour of sleep every single night so talk to your doctor or health care specialist to see which amour of sleep is right for you.
